Madeleine Hatz
a painter and performance artist based in Sweden, was educated at the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm. She lived and worked in New York for three decades, and in Beijing for three winters, before returning to Sweden in 2015. Her performance works—often street actions—include an oil spill at GM Plaza, a “Greenwashing Fest” in Stockholm, and a barefoot winter walk across Tiananmen Square dressed in sackcloth. In contrast to these eruptive actions in public, the paintings evolve slowly in the contemplative studio environment. Both paintings and performances are anchored in a deep emotional involvement with our current earthly predicament. https://madeleinehatz.se/

Peter Bengtsen
Peter Bengtsen is an art historian and sociologist and currently works as Associate Professor of Art History and Visual Studies at Lund University. He has written extensively on street art and graffiti and is the author of The Street Art World (2014) and Street Art and the Environment (2018). As of 2018, he is the coordinator of the interdisciplinary research network Urban Creativity Lund. His current research project focuses on experimenting with visual methods to explore the world of graffiti writing. https://portal.research.lu.se/en/persons/peter-bengtsen

A widely celebrated international speaker, posthumanist thinker, poet, teacher, public intellectual, essayist, and author of two books, These Wilds Beyond our Fences: Letters to My Daughter on Humanity’s Search for Home (North Atlantic Books) and We Will Tell our Own Story: The Lions of Africa Speak, Bayo Akomolafe is the Chief Curator of The Emergence Network and host of the online postactivist course, ‘We Will dance with Mountains’. https://www.bayoakomolafe.net/
