Digital registration and late applications

If you could not attend yesterday’s drop-in registration, you can now register digitally through the university’s Student portal (www.studentportalen.uu.se). The registration is open for a limited time only. You need to be accepted to the course to be able to register.

If you haven’t applied, but would like to study at Cemus during the fall semester, you can make a late application through www.studera.nu. Please contact our administration as well (utbildning@csduppsala.uu.se), or the course coordinators directly, to get information about the course schedule. Don’t wait for the application to go through the system. It takes a few days and you don’t want to miss interesting and important lectures and seminars.

Welcome all to the new semester at Cemus!

Welcome to visionary meeting on Cemus and ESD

Dear all students,

In 2012, Cemus will have been around for 20 years, and Cefo (the research school) for 10 years! We of course want to celebrate this in many ways, but we also want to take the opportunity to think about the future of the organization, student driven education for sustianability and the university´s role in the huge sustainability challenges ahead (and present).

One of the first steps in this process is to invite students to a meetings to discuss students wants and visions when it comes to the future of Cemus. Hope to see you all there! It will be fun!

When: Tuesday, March 22 at 4pm-6pm (kl16-18)

We need to set a date and time for the bigger Roots meeting where we formally elect representatives and welcome new students to the organization. January 26 and January 31 (both at 19:30) are the two best times from a "new student" perspective. What do you prefer? Send me a message: Sara.andersson[a]csduppsala.uu.se

Student Radio

The Student Radio wants to start a radio programme with help from Cemus. The program would air once a week and be 1 hour. The program will not focus on tips for living a sustainable life, but rather be a bit more "angry" and ask some of the bigger and more unfomfortable questions about sustainability (with lots of humor). Interested? Email me before lunch on tuesday, december 14th. sara.andersson[a]csduppsala.uu.se
