Some information for the presentations tomorrow

SDESIGN — Hannes @ 15:42

Tomorrow wednesday the 25th is the big day for your design projects! We are very excited about it, and we hope you are as well! :)

Here is the information that we gave you at the workshop last week, and which is what still counts.

* The venue is the entrance hall of Blåsenhus.
* The presentation showcases shall be up and ready at 12.00. You are responsible for bringing your cardboard walls to Blåsenhus.
* The fair starts at 13.30 and ends at 16.00. During this time you are responsible for having somebody at your showcase, ready to present your projects for the visitors and fellow students.
* Because we have very little space, we can’t be standing there everybody at the same time. So you also have the responsibility to split the time between each other, and make sure you have no more than 2-3 people by your showcase at the same time.
* If you will be using a computer, charge your battery in advance and don’t count on having access to a plug.
* Be prepared to tell about your project in a short and interesting pitch. You will probably not have a lot of time with every visitor, so keep it short and simple, but also be able to dig deeper if somebody shows great interest.

With that said we wish you all good luck and are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

Complementary assignments for both project seminars and presentations available!

SDESIGN — Hannes @ 15:19

We are sorry it took us a long time, but the complementary assignment for the project seminars are finally available here on the course portal. Please observe that there is one assignment for both seminars, but depending on if you missed one or two, you do either half of it or the whole assignment. Further instructions are in the assignment.

We’ve also put up a complementary assignment for the project presentations tomorrow, so if you know now that you will not be able to attend at all tomorrow, you can do the assignment instead. We will take attendance tomorrow at the project fair.

Deadline for the assignments is Friday the 3rd of June, if you want to be sure to have your credits before the summer. If you send it in after that, we can’t guarantee that you will get your credits before the summer.

If you are not sure whether you have missed a mandatory class or not, just e-mail us and we will have a look at it. We will also e-mail those of you who have classes to make up for during this week.

Good luck!

So: location for tonight is Småland in Geocentrum! It is on the second floor, upstairs from Geotryckeriet.
