Her research focuses on environmental humanities and eco-theology. \nNordbäck’s ongoing research focuses on the question of the church’s role and challenges in a time of ecological crisis. She has taken a particular interest in the relationship between humans and water\, highlighting blue theology as a way to deepen the understanding of humanity’s existential relationship with water. In her lecture\, Nordbäck will combine a historical and contemporary perspective and discuss the following questions: How has the church’s existential and theological meaning-making regarding water changed over time?
