Thanks for your interest in our Ecocentrism Workshops :)
We are hosting two workshops with the main goals to inspire and connect ourselves with Nature, as well as open up space for honest conversations about our inherent worldviews.
The workshops relate to Ecocentrism as a worldview that Nature has an intrinsic value, and that humans are just one part of this larger whole. We believe that improving our relationship with Nature is an important way to combat climate change.
🌲 Our first workshop “Embodying our Relationship with Nature” will let us tune into our senses and body to connect with the natural environment around us. This session will be carried out entirely outdoors and involve physical activity.
🗓 Date: 11 November 2023 ⏰ Time: 13:00 – 15:00
📍 Location: Meet at Kung Björns Hög (workshop will be in the forest)
🎨 Our second workshop “Ecotopias: Art & Narratives” will allow us to creatively express our connection with Nature. We will use different art-forms such as painting and poetry to explore how an ecocentric world can look like, re-writing our current narratives.
🗓 Date: 25 November 2023 ⏰ Time: 15:00 – 17:00 📍 Location: CEMUS Library
There will be limited spots for each workshop, on a first-come-first-serve basis so sign up as soon as you can! You are welcome to join both of them if you are interested in their activities.
Feel free to reach out to Daniel at +46 76 104 3330 on WhatsApp if you have any questions. Thanks and see you soon! :)
