The 22nd session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change will be held in Marrakesh in Morocco from 7 November to 18 November 2016. Uppsala University has status as observer organization and will be sending a delegation to the conference. We are now calling upon engaged and motivated students in Uppsala to apply to join the delegation as Uppsala University’s representatives at the negotiations. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to take part in a process that is of paramount importance to the future of humanity and life on our planet.

A first start-up meeting for all interested in the work around COP22 will also take place on September 28:

Where: CEMUS Library, Lab and Lounge (Villavägen 16 in Geocentrum).
Make sure to attend this meeting if you have applied to join the delegation or are interested in participating in other ways to the work leading up to and following COP22.
