January 25: Fika and conversation – Creating a platform for engagement on climate change in Uppsala

When: Monday January 25, 15.30-17.00
Where: Room 12:010, Blåsenhus, Von Kraemers Allé 1, Uppsala, Sweden

The momentum after COP21 is strong, and now is the moment to start working beyond Paris to promote sustainable initiatives in Uppsala.

With this intention a Climate Change Platform is being set up by students and faculty of UU and SLU that last fall were part of the delegation to the global climate negotiations.

The Climate Change Platform will seek to continue sending delegations to the UNFCCC negotiations, but also create a space for interdisciplinary peer-learning within the university and promote a sustainable transition locally.

We invite you to join the fika-presentation where we will have time to debrief what happened at COP21, discuss the implications of the Paris outcomes and finally present the idea of a platform. A platform that aims to be an open space for everyone to collaborate, provide inputs, learn and coordinate to take action on climate change. Everyone is welcome to take initiative and engage with us.

Fika will be served for all the attendees, please register at: http://goo.gl/forms/gFnqcRtzgX
