Välkommen in i KlimatBastuns hetta!
Klimatet förändras, temperaturen stiger, jetströmmen svajar, isen smälter, djungeln brinner, växthusgaserna fortsätter att öka, en del saker blir värre, en hel del förblir som det varit. Utsläppen av växthusgaser behöver minska, landanvändningen ändras, infrastruktur och samhälleliga system byggas om.
I en tid där pratandet behöver omvandlas till konkreta, meningsfulla handlingar bjuder vi in till en samtalsserie, vi bjuder in till bastubad där temperaturen i bastun stiger med de framtida globala temperaturökningarna. Vi färdas från 1.5 grader Celsius globalt medel till över 6 grader, in i en främmande och vild värld.
Välkommen in i KlimatBastuns hetta! Till att samtala, prata, snacka, filosofera, ställa dumma frågor och ge dumma, briljanta svar. Låt dig inspireras, svettas, skratta, fundera och känna hur ångan fyller luften.
KlimatBastun är ett samarbete med och upptakt till KlimatExistenskonferensen ClimateExistence på Sigtunastiftelsen 14-16 maj 2020.

Bakgrund
Idén om en KlimatBastu uppstod under sommaren 2019. Konceptet är framtaget och formulerat av Daniel Mossberg vid CEMUS. Inspirationen till idén kommer från bastukonstverket “Solar Egg” skapat av Bigert & Bergström som under sommaren 2019 stått på Långbryggan i Rättvik, och konstprojektet “Bastu för arbetslösa” skapat av Frida Klingberg.

Welcome into the heat of the ClimateSauna!
The climate is changing, the temperature is rising, the jetstream is swaying, the ice is melting, the jungle is burning, the greenhouse gases are continuing to rise, some things are getting worse, some remain as before. The greenhouse gas emissions needs to decrease, land use change, infrastructure and societal systems be reconstructed.
In a time when talking needs to be transformed into concrete, meaningful actions we invite you to a conversations series, we invite you to sauna where the temperature will rise with the future global temperature rises. We travel from 1.5 degrees Celsius global average to over 6 degrees, into a foreign and wild world.
Welcome into the heat of the ClimateSauna! To converse, talk, chat, philosophize, ask stupid questions and give stupid, brilliant answers. Let yourself be inspired, sweat, laugh, ponder and feel how the steam fills the air.
The ClimateSauna is a collaboration with and run-up to the ClimateExistence conference at the Sigtuna Foundation May 14-16, 2020.

Drop-in from 16.15 (end time at 17.30), Wednesdays the following dates. AUTUMN SESSIONS MOVED TO SPRING. NEW LOCATION TO BE ANNOUNCED. Bring your own swimwear, towel, soap and shampoo. Background
The idea of a ClimateSauna arose during the summer 2019. The concept is developed and formulated by Daniel Mossberg at CEMUS. The inspiration for the idea comes from the sauna art piece “Solar Egg” created by Bigert & Bergström which during the summer 2019 was based at the pier “Långbryggan” in Rättvik, and the art-project “Sauna for unemployed” created by Frida Klingberg.
