Peter Victor is a professor (and former Dean) at York University, and former Assistant Deputy Minister in the Ontario government. He is a prominent critic of growth metrics such as GDP and advocates alternative measures of prosperity.

Peter will present the 2018 edition of his book “Managing Without Growth; Slower by design, not by disaster”. The talk will discuss the problems associated with nations focusing heavily on GDP growth and identify alternative suggestions of a new, sustainable economy.
