On the occasion of his arrival to Uppsala, incoming Zenström Visiting Professor Kevin Anderson held the 2nd Uppsala University Lecture in Climate Change Leadership:

Climate Change: A Parisian Tale of Triumph and Tragedy

The lecture will be followed by a panel conversation with a number of prominent researchers and practioneers within the field of climate change. Vice Chancellor Eva Åkesson will be opening the event which also will be guested by the current holder of the Zennström Professorship Doreen Stabinsky and Niklas Zennström, IT-entrepreneur and funder of the professorship.

Meet-and-greet with Kevin Anderson

Venue: Ångströms Laboratory (Room 14167), Lägerhyddsvägen 1, Uppsala

A chance to meet and greet Professor Kevin Anderson, the incoming Zennström Visiting Professor in Climate Change Leadership at Uppsala University, hosted at the Uppsala Centre for Sustainable Devopment.

Doreen Stabinsky (the first Zennström Visiting Professor) and Kevin Anderson co-hosted this event which included a buffé dinner, drinks and a chance to meet others engaged in research, education and initiatives addressing climate change in Uppsala and beyond. The meet-and-greet followed directly after Niclas Zennström’s Uppsala University Alumni Lecture at Ångströms Laboratory and began with a welcome speech at 19.00.
