Welcome to the first edition of Food Quest on Two Wheels (FQTW) by BFC!
The FQTW aims to engage the community to ride a bike for a more sustainable future! There will be music, food, games and much more!
By participating in this event, you are taking action to reduce food waste through an educational BIKE CIRCUIT that includes games and quests. Together, we will discover why so much food is being wasted and how we can contribute to fight it, while enjoying a bike ride throughout the city. This journey will take you to must-know places in Uppsala and will turn you into a food guardian! You will also get a food guardian kit if you complete the quest!
- We are Bruised FOOD Club, so of course we will provide food for everyone 😃
- You will also get a food guardian kit, so bring a bag that you can ride with! ❤
- You don’t have a bike? Don’t worry! Let us know and we will fix one for you!

WHEN & HOW:
Sunday, August 28th, from 12:00 to 17:30

– The start of the quest is at Forumtorget.
– The circuit is about 12.5km long, so bring a water bottle!
WHO:
Open to everyone, the event is also suitable for families with children. You can register with your friends and make a Food guardian team!
REGISTRATIONS
Participation fees:
BFC Members: 50 SEK
Non-members: 90 SEK
Children under 11: FREE

The registration is completed once we have received your payment. We will send you the map of the quest in advance, so you can start solving mysteries before the day of the event.
VOLUNTEER AT THE EVENT:
Would you like to help out during the event? We need some people at the quest stops and 3 cyclists who can guide participants along the circuit. You will get free lunch and obviously, a free entrance to the event. It will be a great opportunity to meet people and discover Uppsala! After the event, everyone who helped out will be invited to a pizza party!
