Climate Change Leadership (CCL): The Climate Change Leadership Node is an initiative within the research program Natural Resources and Sustainable Development (NRHU) based at the Department of Earth Sciences, Uppsala University. Climate Change Leadership is a dynamic field, crossing disciplinary and societal boundaries, with the aim to catalyse innovative and bold approaches to meet the complex challenges of climate change.

- Student-led Research: This project is all about research conducted by students, through 5,000-7,000 word articles. Submit your abstracts by 31st March 2019 to ccl@cemus.uu.se
The WasteLess Project: This project focuses on waste reduction by implementing different ideas (e.g. organic bins, paper bags, recycling posters, and CEMUS exchange box).

Bruised Food Club: This project aim is to raise awareness and help educate people on the food waste crisis, through food waste cafés, which serve meals made with food from local supermarkets that would have 100% been wasted.

Uppsala Outdoors: This project aims to promote a sense of sustainability and closeness to nature through camping trips, workshops on gear, how to pack, camping food, backpacking behaviour, where to go and what to do.

Extinction Rebellion Uppsala: This project is all about civil disobedience for the climate.

Climate Strike: Every Friday from 15-17 in forumtorget, students strike for the climate to send a message to take urgent action on climate change

Klimatstudenterna: The climate students were started by students at SLU in Uppsala in the spring of 2018. The goal is to quickly grow into a national and international student movement and save the future. Klimatlätt: This project is run by Uppsala Kommun and aims to launch a ‘carbon calculator’ app, with the hope to reduce 10, 000 citizens carbon footprint in a year. They’re searching for student ambassadors. There will be stations/stalls to raise awareness over the city during carbon week end of March. Contact Linnea to get involved.
