[SVENSKA – ENGLISH FURTHER DOWN]
Den 18 maj, kommer äntligen Uppsala Hållbarhetsfestival tillbaka! Efter flertalet lyckade år i Uppsala Universitets byggnad, Blåsenhus, så kommer vi nu flytta festivalen in till centrum av Uppsala. Festivalen kommer att hållas både inomhus och utomhus – Gamla torget, Kollaboratioriet, Stadsbiblioteket, Gotlandsparken, Valdemar Langlets park och längs med Fyrisån.
Årets tema är “BLOMSTRA”!
Vad kan vi göra för att uppnå en hållbarare värld? Var finner vi hopp? Vilka fröer behöver vi plantera och hur får vi människor, natur och samhällen att blomstra tillsammans?
Det finns många initiativ och människor runt omkring oss som arbetar med och mot hållbarhet. Detta kommer vara en plats att dela, fira, lära, agera och inspirera.
Dagen kommer fyllas med workshops, urban gardening, tävlingar, föreläsningar, paneldebatter, teater, musik, mat, poesi, utställare och mycket mer. En härlig dag fylld med hopp och framtidstro!
Som upptakt till festivalen, den 17 maj, kommer två evenemang att äga rum. Konstutställningen “Follow me through Fashionland” i Kollaboratoriet Uppsala och filmfestivalen “Film och Framtid” på Fyrisbiografen. Två unika och spännande evenemang!

[ENGLISH]The Spring edition of the Uppsala Sustainability Festival returns on May 18th! After several years of success in Uppsala University building of Blåsenhus, we are moving the festival down in town! We’ll have some outdoor spaces as well as some rooms indoors at Gamla torget, Kollaboratioriet, City Library, Gotlandsparken, Valdemar Langlets park and along the fyris river.
The theme for this festival is “BLOOM”!
What can we do to work towards sustainability? Where does the hope lie? What seeds do we need to plant, and what flowers are blooming?
There are many initiatives and people around us that are working with and towards sustainability. This will be a space to share, celebrate, cross pollinate, learn, act and inspire.
The day will be filled with workshops, urban gardening, lectures, competitions, theatre, panel debates, music, food, poetry, exhibitions and a lot more. A fun day filled with hope!
As a runup, on the 17th of may, two events will be held. The movie-festival “Film and future” at Fyrisbiografen as well as the art-exhibition “Follow me through Fashionland” at Kollaboratoriet. Two unique and exciting events.
